Who are you, and what shaped you into the person you are today?
I am David O., creative director and founder of a small independent agency. I have not been shaped by a single moment, but by a collection of small, conscious decisions. Living in the city, working in design, and growing through stillness have all shaped the way I think and move.
What experiences, personal or professional, have marked you in a way you would not want to miss?
The quiet moments have taught me the most. The times when I stepped back, listened more, and let things settle. Those phases brought clarity and helped me understand what truly matters. In my work, it meant focusing on meaningful projects rather than chasing noise.
How do you decide where to invest your energy?
I trust my instinct for honesty. If something feels grounded and real, I commit fully. I am not drawn to trends or hype. I look for depth and a clear sense of intention. That is where my energy goes.
What does real presence mean to you?
Presence is quiet strength. It is the ability to hold space without having to speak loudly. Some people walk into a room and shift the atmosphere simply by being centered.
When do you feel most in tune with yourself?
When I move. Running clears my head. Also when I am working with my hands, shaping ideas, or spending time with people who speak with clarity. That is when I feel most aligned.
How would you describe your style, beyond trends?
Reduced, clean, considered. I wear what reflects my state of mind. Mostly monochrome. I do not want clothes that speak for me. I want them to reflect me. Calm outside, focused inside.
What does less but better mean to you?
To me it means choosing with care. It is not about denying yourself, but about knowing what truly fits. It is about having fewer things that say more. I would rather wear one thing that lasts and speaks than many that try to impress.
What do you wish you saw more of in the world around you?
More people who act with intention. Who know what they stand for and do not need to be loud about it. Less performance, more presence.
If everything had to fit in one sentence, what would yours be?
Calm the mind, move with purpose, win quietly.
